The sidewalls on all 4 tires have spiderweb cracks. Some of these cracks are making their way to the tread. The tires are michelin ltx245/75r16 lre purchased @ costco 9/06/13, all have 9/32s tread, and have been driven 36,000 miles. Called michelin and was told to go to sears for an inspection. Sears called michelin. I was offered 4 new tires (a good will gesture) for $772. 56. That is twice as much I paid for tire I'm driving on now. I think that if I keep driving on these tires (there is lots of tread left) the tire will blow -out. We were part of the firestone recall in 1999. I was old that the cracking is common in michelin. . . . That does not seem right.
