1 Engine Noise problem

Failure Date: 02/01/2016

I was driving straight away going up a slight hill on the hwy excelling and pressing the gas pedal when the power suddenly dropped and went down to 20 mph while I pressed the gas pedal even more the engine sounded like it was revving but the speed stayed at 20 mph or less. - the check engine light, vsc & trac lights all came on. I immediately pulled over and decided to turn around and not continue up the hill. While driving on the straight away (still on the hwy) the vehicle's speed improved a little but only in spurts- going upwards to 40 mph then falling again to 20 mph at least 3 times in the 20 minute drive home. The vehicle sounded and felt like it was straining for power. All of the fluids, oils etc. . Was filled and in good standings- this vehicle is only 6 months old and has 4434 miles on it. I took the vehicle to the Toyota dealer the very next day and they found that this was a manufacturing problem. The codes p2445 and p2441 was found faulty and was replaced- in the report it was stated that the car is down, considered unsafe to drive because the vehicle may go into limp mode for this condition while driving. I am submitting a portion of the report with my personal information covered.
