Brake Light Problems of Toyota Tacoma

When it rains water comes inside the cabin around brake light and soaks the seats. I noticed this when the truck is stationary. I think it's coming around the brake lights gasket the whole back if wet on the driver side looks like water is coming in from the brake light at the top of the headliner. I've also seen other views or reports on this incident.

The cab mounted third brake light fixture is allowing a large amount of water to leak into the cab of the truck. The seats and carpet are getting soaked every time there is heavy rain. Eventually the light will fail and mold and mildew will result. This is a very expensive repair. Toyota does not take responsibility for what I think is a defective gasket in this fixture. I have reported the problem to Toyota.

Leaking around 3rd brake light (rear of cab) began in spring 2020. Unfortunately, this is now out of the 36k warranty. Dealer refuses to repair due to my truck being at 53,000 miles.

The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 68,495.

The third brake lighting leaks water when raining/carwash this can generate a short circuit.

The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that if there was work done to the vehicle by an independent mechanic, that they would not be able to assist with any repairs. 3rd brake light over torqued at factory resulting in defective seal and eventually cracked light fixture. The 3rd brake light becomes loose allowing water into the truck cab. It is either a rubber gasket defect or it was not properly installed at the factory. This problem has been noted in numerous venues for the 2016-2020 model years of the Toyota Tacoma. Mine leaks while driving or standing still.

Toyota denied me help with things that should be a recalls! they are greedy and out right lying sociopathic thieves! the top rear brake light on my Tacoma 07 truck lets rain water in. This is goin to cause mold and has already blown out the compass on the ceiling as the wiring for this is in the ceiling! and seats gettin wet over and over from rain water gettin in the top rear light. They also just denied me any help refunding me for updated headlight lens that had to come out with which kept burning sockets, blowing bulbs and burning the lens! there TSB which should be a recall is t-sb-0129-11. This TSB thing is a scam so they dont have to account for their poor quality mistakes. I paid 24,000 for this truck and Toyota wont help me at all with their defective product! they are pure evil! there is no way I can get water in the top rear break light, no way whatsoever, theres no way I can burn out sockets and lens over and over since iv owned the truck! people dont go to the dealerships because they are rude as hell! they have no idea what theyre doin in first place and they pull scams left and right. They said they wont help cause I dont go to dealership enough can u believe that??? im not out of reality at all, I dont use facebook , I dont drink or drug, I am in no way out of reality whatsoever! I do nothing that results in irresponsibility in any way shape or form! I dont spend money everyday goin down a river. Im very conservative and meek. This is enough !
