Door Latch Problems of Toyota Tacoma

Drivers side rear door latch broke while on high way door came open door open light was off door latch will not work just flips back and forth.

The contact owns 2005 Toyota Tacoma. The contact stated that the front passenger side door would not lock. The contact was attempting a right turn when the door swung open independently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was informed that the lock mechanism would need to be replaced. The failure and current mileage was 103,000.

2005 Tacoma passenger door would not latch closed, when door was closed. Had to hold door closed until truck was driven home. There were two people in truck, one to drive the other to hold door shut. Next business day took truck to dealer for repairs. No repair for faulty part, part was put on order, a temp fix was done so door would remain closed. Was advised not to use door until new part was installed.

The handles on both doors have broken and I am unable to open my truck from the outside. The handles are made of plastic and the plastic has snapped.

No locks on the access door's. Where the seat belt's attache the door can open on impact.

Doors do not always close with safety latch upon entering or exiting. "normal" swing is applied to close the door. Have found door completely able to be opened, even though I had locked vehicle with remote.
