One problem related to front seat recliner has been reported for the 1997 Toyota Tercel. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Tracking is gone on front seat. Latch will not hold and seat will slide back and forth when coming to a stop. Contacted dealer, and dealer checked seat, and stated nothing they can do because its out of warranty.
