Tire problem #1

While driving down the highway at 65-70 mph, the tread on one of my futura lte 2000 p215/65r15 came completely off. Before and during long trips (like this one), I check and verify that the air pressure of the tires is 35 psi and all tires were holding their pressure just fine (I. E. No leaks). I had last checked the tire pressure the previous evening.

Tire Tread/belt problem #2

Goodyear fortera tires rated for 60,000 miles gave only approx. 25,000 miles of service with over 95% of driving on highways.
