2001 Toyota tacoma-accelerated when braking, high rpms, when applying the brake.
Engine shuts down completely when attempting to pass another vehicle or when pedal is depressed all the way to the floor. Problem went on for over a year. It took three different authorized dealers before the problem was located. It was finally repaired when service man modified throttle position sensor.
