Vehicle panoramic view monitor camera system becomes unresponsive. Error code u023b87 - lost communication with ecm/pcm missing image. System error renders all cameras except rear camera inoperable. Concerns on safety: inability to utilize parking, cross traffic, and cameras which enhance vehicle and pedestrian safety. Front view camera typically goes on at low to avoid forward blindspot over hood. Without cameras or sensors, may result in collision with low objects or pedestrians such as children on bicycles particularly on large blindspot in front of hood. Failure appeared at 1,800 miles.
