Rear sunroof window exploded out while driving. Truck had just under 9000 total miles on it when this happened. Driving on i25 east of casper wyoming in very high cross winds. No other vehicle was within a quarter of a mile when the roof exploded with a very loud bang!.
Bought my vehicle brand new on January 2026. During heavy rain, my truck has a strong water leak that comes out of the handle bars between the windshield and front door windows, behind the rearview mirrors and the sun glasses compartment. I’ve brought my vehicle to the dealership 3 times already and couldn’t fix the issue or duplicate the water leak. After the third visit at the dealership, I couldn’t find out if the leak was fixed since it has not rained since then. So I went ahead and washed my vehicle and sprayed the top and front of my vehicle. As I went in my truck, I saw water leaking again.
The contact owns an autokato mid rise scissor lift. The contact stated that while using the autokato mid-rise scissor lift, the ramps failed to function as intended. The contact inspected the ramps and determined that the ramps were partially welded. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The contact was informed that the autokato mid-rise scissor lift had been discontinued.
The tailgate remote operation is inconsistent. It usually does not work and the tailgate has to be lowered by randomly applying pressure in different spots. Nothing seems consistent. Once it opens then it may work a few times then goes back to not working. This is true regardless of the "switch" used (key fob, button on rear of vehicle in tail light assembly, button on the gate itself, switch/button on dash). I had it in the dealer 2 months after taking deliver and they told me it was fixed now a couple months later it is happening again.
Sometimes at a red light or stop sign, I go to take off and the truck will hesitate for a second or two. I press the pedal down aways and then it lurches and takes off slowly. Been happening regularly.
While driving today, the sunroof spontaneously exploded. It exploded up and outward. There were no other cars/trucks nearby. I have never heard anything hit the sunroof before either. The truck is 3 weeks old and has only 1800 miles on it.
Brand new truck - less than a week, made it to 500 miles with a road trip. Yesterday driving home from work going roughly 25mph, I heard a loud bang as if a firearm went of in the cab of the truck. It was extremely loud, and very startling to my core. The fixed portion of the sunroof over the back seat shattered out of nowhere. In my opinion it was installed under unknown torque compression stress, and the back portion of the sunroof shattered with an explosion effect as a result.
