2017 Toyota Venza. Consumer writes in regards to sudden acceleration issues. The consumer stated the vehicle had it's second episode of sudden acceleration. This specifically occured, when approaching a stop sign and removing foot from the accelerator pedal then placing it on the brake pedal.
The contact owns a 2014 Toyota Venza. The contact stated that while traveling approximately 25 mph, the contact attempted to decelerate but the vehicle erroneously accelerated. The vehicle had to be put in park in order to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer who was not able to diagnose the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 900.
