Tl-the contact owns a 2015 Toyota Venza. The contact stated that they were in a crash and their driver seat was damaged . The contact was stoped in their vehicle and another vehicle was driving at 56 mph (police officer speed estimation). The other vehicle struck the contact from behind and on impact the driver's seat went forward and then back into the back seats. The air bags did not deploy. The contact did sustain minor back injuries and they did recieve medical attention. A police report was filled. The vehicle was then towed to a local body shop where the mechanic could do nothing. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the issue and sent a representative to the contact. The Toyota mechanic came to the contacts home and inspected but did not diagnose the vehicle. The field mechanic stated that the seat in the vehicle is still operating properly. However the seat and back side of the vehicle is still damaged. The failure mileage was 30,000. Jw.
