Takata recall. On January 12,2018 I was involved in an accident. A vehicle cut me off and I hydroplaned when braking. There were massive storms occurring. My concern is that my airbags never deployed. I slammed very hard into the median resulting in some lingering back soreness and truthfully a fear of driving in the rain. I received a mailer last week notifying me that this vehicle is now part of an airbag recall. Seen by the photos below, there is no reason why these airbags did not deploy. Something was not right here.
Your website, recalls by VIN# states, drivers air bag may not deploy. I have brought the car to the Toyota dealer and they do not recognize this recall. Please advise.

I braked to avoid hitting an animal which emerged from the ditch. The car fishtailed, lost control and flipped once landing on it's top. The driver's side was damaged and the insurance company totaled the car. I did hit my head against the driver's side window, but the blow was not severe. My concern is that the side airbag did not deploy. The anti-lock breaks did not work either and have only worked intermittently for quite some time.
While traveling home in wet conditions, my friend lost control of the vehicle striking 2 full size pine trees and two electric poles, basically we bounced from one to the other hitting the front head on and front left and right before coming to a stop on top of a fire hydrant. . . The only airbag to deploy was the drivers steering airbag. I was obviously sitting in the passenger seat and due to the passenger airbag not deploying I slammed my head into the dash before the seatbelt locked. This needs to be looked into and researched, my friend and myself could have and probably should be dead due to the airbag defect in these vehicles, there are multiple complaints regarding this style Yaris that's pertaining to the same issue.

Was traveling on constantine drive on my way to beach blvd in huntington beach. I was going approximately 15 mph, I had glanced down to look at my navigation system I noticed that I was close to a parked car and put on my brakes. I ended up striking the left tail light of a parked 2010 - blue - Ford element. The point of impact was my right front taillight. My car flipped over in one fell swoop and landed upside down. Eyewitnesses to the crash believe that a gust of wind caused the car to flip over. The police who arrived on the scene shortly thereafter could not find a justification for what had occurred at the low rate of speed that I was traveling. Even though the car flipped upside down the air bags did not deploy.
