The contact owns 2010 Toyota Yaris. While driving at speeds of 45 mph, there was a sudden increase in engine rpms. The vehicle began dragging and exhibiting power transmission failure. The driver was able to move off of the road, as he had limited motion but could not accelerate. The VIN was not available at the time of the complaint. The failure mileage was 500. The current mileage was 520.

Power Train problem #2

The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Yaris. The contact stated that the key was in the ignition when the contact shifted into park. The vehicle then abnormally began to roll away in reverse from a residential driveway. The vehicle came to a stop as it crashed into another vehicle. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 32,000.

Transmission Slip Out Of Gear problem #3

Transmission slips out of drive when speed reaches 60mph. It slips back in gear when the driver either wiggles the shift lever or when driver shifts into 3rd gear. Shifting into 3rd gear usually works but sometimes requires the driver to remain in 3rd gear for a while before shifting back into drive.
