Electronic Stability Control problem #1

In the past 8-9 months I have had 2 sets ( of 4) tire sensors replaced. All of this happened while driving. It will first blink then display a solid blue line. The first and second time the sensors showed they were not connecting to the tires. Today the light blinked, then went to a solid blue within a few seconds. I had to drive over 50-60 miles to get to the big o store. I stopped to make sure there was enough air in the tires to drive the 50-60miles. One tire was 2 pounds lower then the other three. The low tire was increased to match the other three and I continued to the big o store in cortez, CO. It turned out that I was driving appx 2 hours when the solid blue light suddenly turned off. 15ish miles later the light blinked for 2-3. Miles and then went solid again. At this point I was appx 2 miles from the store. Once at the store, the tires were check and all pressures had remaimed the same. The sensors were checked and they were all connecting and working. I hear that altitude (6500-7000 ft) and temperature can affect the sensors (it was between 29 to 31 degree f. ) I was driving on mountainous semi- winding clear roads between durango and cortez CO. This happened between 11:30am-2:30pm. I was driving between 35-65- mph ( from manco to durango to cortez, CO I am getting ready to drive down to albuquerque ( 3. 5- 4 hrs) on many 2 lane roads and don't want to experience any car problems on roads with no place to pull off. Please advise. Linda kemp 404 w. Menefee st. #101 mancos, CO 81328 520-490-3872.

Electronic Stability Control problem #2

Electronic Stability Control problem #3

I went to dealership on western 1/7/19 bought a new vehicle 2019 Toyota Yaris le the same day the vehicle stopped on me while in traffic on 33rd and king drive all the lights turned red and came even before leaving the dealership the engine light came on and the agent ignocio told me that it's nothing it will go away. The same thing happened 1/11/19 and 1/25/19 in traffic on lakeshore drive and the vehicle stopped while in drive mode and all lights came on again windows were stuck doors were not unlocking and the key was in the vehicle as well. I was scared for my life and could been killed that day. Toyota dealership is not doing anything about the issue I told them this is a manufacturer defect because there is no way a brand new vehicle will have engine light including all other lights on and stop on on its onw in traffic.

Electronic Stability Control problem #4

Any day, any weather, any road conditions. The road could be as dry as a bone. When I drive around a curve (it doesn't matter if I'm driving 45 mph, or 15 mph), the break pedal will engage on it's own, the steering wheel will lock, and a beeping alarm will go off. I have no control of the van. It will put me into oncoming traffic. Everyday. Everyday. Any time I drive this van. Multiple times a day for the last 15 months. Lots of $, and lots of trips to dealer and car repair shops. Can't figure out what is causing the problem, but it's a major problem. We tried new tires, changing wheel sensors, new brakes, adding fluid to steering wheel column, new axels. . . And the list goes on. Nothing fixes the problem. I've read a lot of similar stories on the internet. Lots pf people, same problem, and nothing is fixing the problem on anyone's van. There isn't a solution to a major problem.

Electronic Stability Control problem #5

Lost vehicle control diching and crashing in to a tree.

Electronic Stability Control problem #6

Electronic Stability Control problem #8

While driving the car at approximately 10 mph the abs and brake lights came on. At the same time the abs felt like they engaged. After researching the problem online I found out that many users in the us and canada are having the same problem due to faulty abs wheel speed sensors on the wheel hub. Due to the salt on the roads during the winter months, salt can enter the sensor and corrode the terminals. This is due to a poor seal between the connector and the wiring harness. When salt water enters the terminals it causes the abs to act up. This is true for 2007 and 2008 models according to other Yaris users. It seems that the problem has been taken care of in 2009 models. But for owners of 2008 and 2007 models problem exists even after replacing the sensor and wiring harness with new ones. This is a major safety concern since the abs system can engage at any time possibly causing an accident and/or injury to the driver and passengers.

Electronic Stability Control problem #9

Traction control prevents car from going up hills in icy conditions and cannot be turned off unless fuse to traction control and antilock brakes is removed. Remove the fuse and I can get home!.

Electronic Stability Control problem #10

Was traveling on constantine drive on my way to beach blvd in huntington beach. I was going approximately 15 mph, I had glanced down to look at my navigation system I noticed that I was close to a parked car and put on my brakes. I ended up striking the left tail light of a parked 2010 - blue - Ford element. The point of impact was my right front taillight. My car flipped over in one fell swoop and landed upside down. Eyewitnesses to the crash believe that a gust of wind caused the car to flip over. The police who arrived on the scene shortly thereafter could not find a justification for what had occurred at the low rate of speed that I was traveling. Even though the car flipped upside down the air bags did not deploy.
