Unknown Or Other problem #1

We were driving on the highway late in the evening when all of a sudden, the drivers side window imploded. The glass literally crumbled into tiny pieces and fell into the car, front left and rear left side. I contacted the dealership service department, and was told that nothing like this has ever happened before, nobody had ever heard of anything like this. My own google research has proven that this has happened to other people, and perhaps the dealership was being less than honest with me. My fear is that there is a defect and that I, or other people driving this car can be seriously injured or worse.

Unknown Or Other problem #2

Trunk lost its ability to remain open and unexpectedly came closed and hit me in the head the first time, the forehead the second time. Very dangerous.

Unknown Or Other problem #3

We have a 2007 Toyota Yaris the rear wheel hub bearings are failing and the parts are only available at the dealer at a very expensive price. Appp\arently this is a very common problem and I feel that it may warrant a recall. It is impossible to find the part and distributors told me that the demand has exceeded availability for months. I would like to know if this is being checked into. Thank you.

Unknown Or Other problem #4

As the vehicle was driven into a parking space it began to accelerate, did not stop when brakes were pumped, and struck a building. The air bags did not deploy.

Unknown Or Other problem #5

2009 Toyota Yaris. Consumer states that state farm is illegally removing the 5 star crash rating given by government agencies on his Toyota Yaris.

This should be a safety recall. Underneath the 2007 Yaris there is bolts holding the control arm to the suspension. Simply put the bolt has rusted out after only three years. This is not normal. It appears that when water splashes up under the car and gets caught there is no way for the water to drain. It just sits on the bolt. If/when this rusts out the control arm could separate from he suspension and cause the automobile to lose control. It is an obvious design flaw. I urge you and Toyota to look into this and issue a recall immediately, as there is many other autos on the road with this same issue. It is a simple fix if caught up front. Unfortunately for folks like me, who already had this happen to. It will cost hundreds. Fortunately, nothing has happened to me me yet. But I cannot get someone to fix it until next week and I have to get to work. So I will cross my fingers that it doesn't get worse.

Unknown Or Other problem #7

I own a 2008 Toyota Yaris, and after 3 years I'm now experiencing a problem with the abs sensors. This is a standard safety feature that I had to pay for since it is not included in the base model. I did some research and found out that many Yaris owners from canada and us are having the same issue with the same sensors and seem to have started with the 2006 models and so on. I'm including the link of the forum listed below as proof of other Yaris owners having the same issue. I'm sure that there are other people not on this forum experiencing the same problem and are not accounted for. This is a safety concern that I feel should be recalled. To get this fixed, it costs more than adding the feature itself when purchasing the vehicle. I'm expressing my concern because I feel that this is an important safety concern that all Yaris owners, whether having the problem or not should be aware of. Hopefully something can be done. . Unknown Or Other problem #8

The trunk of the vehicle does not stay open on its own , there are no springs or any device to keep it open especially if the car is on a incline. Myself ,my parents and boyfriend have been hit in the back of the head by the trunk lid. Very painful. Did question the dealership about it and was told that was how the car was made.

Unknown Or Other problem #9

I was driving at the regular speed limit and when the car in front of me was stopping to make a left hand turn. I stepped on my brake and the car would not stop. I was practically standing on the brake pedal and the car would not stop and I hit the car in front of me. The airbags deployed. I remember that a policeman told me to put on the emergency brake because the car was still sliding. I know I tried to stop and the car wouldn't stop. Based on their reports of Toyota's sticking accelerator, I thought this should be reported and investigated. I just came home last week. I broke 4 ribs in the accident and the car is totaled. I was in rehabilitation for 2 1/2 weeks. I would like to see this accident investigated. I have a clean driving record and I believe there may have been some type of mechanical issue that would not let me stop the car. The insurance salvage garage is holding the car for 60 days at our request so the car could be inspected.

Unknown Or Other problem #10

I have owned my car for two years now, and have had a problem with the airconditioner leaking inside my car, since I got it. It makes a horrible noise with any left hand turn, my carpet is ruined, moldy and im confident im breathing in mold spores and who knows what else. I took my car into the dealer ship, they kept it for three weeks, refused to replace my carpet. They did make it stop leaking, most likely by clearing the drain line out, that lasted for a few weeks. Then the problem returned.

Unknown Or Other problem #11

Our local Toyota service dealer does not perform safety recall repairs on the weekend, or on weekdays after 4pm. So car will remain in same condition until a dealer is found that can repair safety recall on weekend. . . If possible. The rodland Toyota service representative was actually very rude to me on the phone. Not sure what to do from here. Thanks in advance for any understanding.
