Seat Belt problem #1

The seat belt receptacle on the rear passenger side seat has failed. The vehicle is barely 4 years old. The dealership offered to replace it at a cost of $808. 00. There was no warning that it would fail, it simply quit working. There has not been any foreign substance spilled on the receptacle. There were no injuries, but the seat belt is a critical safety feature and should last longer than 4 years from new.

Seat Belt problem #2

Seatbelt light stays on and dings at me while driving, even though I am buckled. I’ve tried turning the car on and off to reset the seatbelt sensor and it doesn’t work.

Seat Belt problem #3

Rear passenger seat belts can become caught in over-shoulder seat release lever (affects all rear seats, except middle bench seat). This can prevent seat belts from retracting properly. This happens frequently when middle row seats are returned to seating position from fold-down position. This slightly has the potential to cause t to be seat to release while the vehicle is in motion.
