The contact owns a 2022 Volkswagen Atlas. The contact stated while driving in snow, the windshield wipers began to slowing decrease working until it completed stopped operating. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to parked on the side of the road and manually tighten up the windshield wipers bolts that were loose. The contact was able to continue driving but stated the windshield wipers were not aligned and fractured around the areas of the windshield. The contact took the vehicle to local dealer and was informed no failure found due to the windshield were not meant to clean snow. The dealer informed to keep tightening up the windshield wipers bolts as needed. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 6,500.
