Body problems of the 1998 Volkswagen Beetle

Failure Date: 10/31/2014

Daughter was driving to school, car stalled, restarted car then saw smoke and fire under passenger side dash. Car burnt completely, totaled. Have before and after pictures.

Failure Date: 10/19/2001

Consumer stated that the belly pan broke off of the car, dealer installed under body splash shields, and replaced left side piece.

Failure Date: 05/29/1998

Center console replaced due to blistering.
