Two problems related to hood latch have been reported for the 1998 Volkswagen Beetle. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Hood failed to close completely. Dealership has examined vehicle, and determined that hood latch assembly will have to be replaced at consumers expense. Consumer states it took five weeks to get an apppointment.
