Two problems related to gasoline fuel system have been reported for the 1999 Volkswagen Beetle. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving at 60 mph. The consumer smelled a strong chemical odor in the cabin of the vehicle. The smell caused the consumer to feel nauseous and made it impossible to drive the vehicle. The vehicle was towed. Please provide further information.
While driving at any speed gas fumes leaked throughout the vehicle. Gas smell became overwhelming when vehicle was driven for a while. Dealership inspected vehicle several times, but did not find anything wrong with the vehicle.
