Three problems related to exterior rearview mirror have been reported for the 2000 Volkswagen Beetle. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer stateed that right rear view mirror was loose.
Consumer stateed that right rear view mirror was loose.
Consumer called complaining about having problem with rear outside mirror on the driver's side. Also, stated when turning it would block the view at 50% ,and was considered unsafe. Manufacturer was not contacted. Dealer was contacted, and stated that was the way the vehicle was designed. There was nothing they could do.
