One problem related to power window has been reported for the 2001 Volkswagen Beetle. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I used the switch to lower the window ,heard a clunk,window fell all the way inside the door. This is a known problem for vw and they continue not to remedy it. All window regulators are on backorder for 4 weeks so that tells you something.
