The passenger side of the spoiler was lifting up halfway across the trunk. While washing and drying the vehicle, the contact and her husband notice the spoiler failure. The contact stated that the failure was related to NHTSA campaign number: 08v036000 ( structure). The local dealer was contact who referred her to the manufacturer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, who confirmed there was no recall coverage and referred the contact to the NHTSA hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 69,393.
