Two problems related to service brakes have been reported for the 2001 Volkswagen Cabrio. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The rear brakes wore out before the front brakes. The rear brakes and rotors were replaced.
The brakes would intermittently extended stopping distance when applied. The dealer was not notified.
