Two problems related to ignition switch have been reported for the 1998 Volkswagen Cabriolet. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Ignition switch operates intermittently, causing failure of electrical functions. A private mechanic has diagnosed the problem, and was making repairs. Please provide any additional information / attachments.
While driving headlights cut off and on and so did the windshield wipers. Dealer said it was due to ignition switch.
