general problems of the 2009 Volkswagen CC - part 1

I can only say that the car has many problems that I can lose my life and I do not have answers from the manufacturer, I only have to demand them.

Takata recall I took my car in to get my airbags replaced with a newer version to rusty wallce Volkswagen Nov. 10nth today my driver airbag inflated as soon as I parked it. The key was in the ignition and I was far away from any other car. Im glad im ok but this could have been much worse. I am very upset that this happened. I drive a 2009 Volkswagen Cc. What is the purpose of fixing a faulty recall with another damaged part.

Passenger occupant detection system is not working correctly. Possibly affecting passenger airbag deployment.

Takata recall I have been issued several notices of airbag recall for my Volkswagen. Myself and my husband have made phone calls to the local dealership and have been told unable to repair. Received another notice last week and contacted delearshio again. This phone call has not been returned but was told by person on the phone that the repair would probably not occur due to no parts.

We received a letter from vw earlier this week that our air bag was now in line to be replaced but when we contacted the dealership, they said they did not have the parts. What is going on with this? I have also called vw of America headquarters and am currently on hold!.

I dropped my car off on 4/05/2017 and when it was returned to me, I was told that they were not going to correct the airbag problem in my car until after June. I contacted vw headquarters and was told that the dealer should have repaired my car because my car was on the list to be repaired. I was acting on a letter that I received in late April from vw advising me to take my car into the nearest dealer to have my airbag repaired.

Takata recall has not been resolved, "no remedy available" cited. The remedy: replace the airbag! this should not take months or years, I am driving tens of thousands of miles at the wheel of a guillotine in the meantime. You should require vw to supply loaner cars.

Today I noticed that the steering wheel surface is cracking along airbag.

Takata recall---received letter stating that the airbag in the steering wheel that may inflate during an accident may throw out sharp, steel pieces of metal when it inflates. Said it was dangerous to drive. No accident has happened as your letter advised that it is too dangerous to drive it in this condition. This is costing me a lot of money and I want something done immediately!!!!!!!! it has been months since I was notified and this car is very important to our daily lives. No information has come to us regarding this air bag issue. I have thousands of dollars tied up in this car and it has been months since we were notified. Takata recall. . . How long are we suppose to ride around in a dangerous vehicle in harms way. The recall went out in February of this year and here it is July with no remedy. I need a loaner vehicle or a new vehicle for this death trap I have. I have a terrible gas leak in my fuel line. The gas smell has moved inside of the vehicle and no one can withstand it. Not only is the smell extremely strong, but the gas leak is even more dangerous than the faulty airbags. Insurance companies total vehicles when airbags deploy, but Volkswagen thinks it's okay for us to ride around in vehicles with faulty, life threatening airbags and faulty fuel lines. This is unacceptable on so many levels and something has to be done and be done immediately.

Takata recall: I am reading that people are being injured and dying, and the news says to stop driving the car. The dealership has no resolution. There is no time-line for a repair. I used your live chat and was told I could ask for a rental. The dealership said that no rental will be provided, it was up to me to take the risk to drive the car.

Takata recall my vehicle has an airbag recall and yet I have not been given an option to take it in for check up. I hope to also get the dash cleared up of all the lights indicating various errors on my car. My vehicle started acting up this way as it was stationary for about 6 months total now.

I have been notified of the recall. The dealership says they can not replace it, no replacement parts. I want a rental car until it is fixed. My life is in jeopardy when I drive, not a great feeling.

Takata recall this issue was reported on 2/9/16. Three months has passed and no solution has been provided. I refuse to drive around in a car not fit for the road. Every day that passes there could be an 11th or 12th death. This is a scary experience. I plan to initiate a law suit against Volkswagen for putting me in harms way and not resolving my issue in a timely fashion. I just want to be safe when I travel, not worry about my car being safe enough to drive.

Takata recall I received a letter from vw of America on April 2016 informing me bout this recall. J have contacted vw of America, the dealers in macon and warner robins georgia; unfortunately the only answer I got was it may take up to 2 or 3 years for us to get the replacement bags, therefore drive carefully. They should provide me with a safe car but unfortunately they are just joking with me which I find unacceptable. I have heard my friends owning hondas and suffering from the same issue, and Honda let them use rental cars for 4 or 5 months until they got the issue resolved. Vw should be one of the leading top ranking car manufacturers but their customer service is poor when it comes to safety issues. I hope you will make sure that I am given a safe car to drive till mine meets the safety requirements again.

Takata recall I am uncomfortable and feel unsafe driving my car. I have called vw even month and the tell me they are working on the problem and are not authorizing rental cars. They have told me that the car is perfectly safe driving. I have checked with dealers like Honda, BMW, mercedes, all of which have concerned customer in loaner or rental cars. I have repeatedly asked for vw to accommidate me and they have refused.

Takata recall - I have received urgent recalls since April 2016. . . I have been driving with a known dangerous/deadly issue for 34 months. . . I have attempted to have the service completed, have been on a waiting list at several dealerships, was put on another one today after making another call. How does takata get away with this??? I was told to wait on fuel pump recall until airbag work.

Takata recall. My vehicle has recalled airbags, and volkswagon currently has no solution to the problem. Volkswagon sent me a notice 6 months ago, telling me about the defective airbags. There should be a solution at this time.
