One problem related to tail light switch has been reported for the 2012 Volkswagen CC. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Rear tail lighting and truck latch fail to operate causing high possibility of being struck from behind. This is and has been a problem for years, all 2009 to 2012 Volkswagen Cc models have and continue to have the issue. The wiring harness in the trunk is of poor design and quality causing wires to break and create open shots resulting in no tail lamp lighting.
