Vehicle stopped in the middle of the road. At first thought, we thought it might be an alternator failure but mechanic says there is no compression in the engine and the vehicle has total engine failure needing a complete replacement. 110,000 miles.
I was driving out of my driveway, going about 10 mph, for less than 100 yards and the red warning lights came on indicating "engine failure", "do not drive the vehicle"! I drove home and turned off the ignition and called vw dealer to have the vehicle towed.
