Vehicle continues to stall while at low idle or stopped. Several attempts of fixing this issue at the dealership has failed to identify and correct the issue. The dealership first replaced the spark plugs and coil packs, two moths later when the same issue occurred they replaced the high pressure fuel pump and two months later the car is in the shop for the same issue. On two occasions my car stalled while driving on the highway.
The 'engine' light comes on. Code p025c comes up. Indicating fuelpump module control circuit low " vehicle is running well . Mechanic 'says' the fuel sensor at the gas cap may be malfunctioning. Is the gas cap sensor part of the fuel pump ? can the gas cap sensor be replaced without replacing the whole fuel pump ? to replace the fuel pump is atleast $207 plus labor. Cost of the gas cap sensor ??? thank you, [xxxx] parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S.
