Four year old car with 42,822 miles. Check engine light flashed a few time on accelerating Thursday night. Check engine light went solid Friday morning, and on my way to the dealer the engine siezed. Vw tells me the engine is completely dead.

2 Check Engine Light On problem

Failure Date: 07/04/1999

While driving on a road engine light came on and engine started misfiring. Contacted dealer and manufacturer. To bring vehicle in for servicing.

3 Check Engine Light On problem

Vehicle will misfire / stall. The engine check light will illuminate. Dealer has been notified.
