Door Latch Problems of Volkswagen Golf

Possible to remove entire door lock core without setting off the car alarm in vw Golf.

The latch for the door on the center console broke off.

Automatic transmission failure, mass air flow sensor failure, premature rear brake pad failure, automatic door lock malfunction, water pump failure, third brake light failure.

The car has had squeaking and creaking front doors since two weeks after delivery. The dealer has tried several times to lubricate, adjust the door and striker. The problem has never been solved. It can be heard whenever the car accelerates, decelerates, or changes direction. It also has buzzes, creaks, squeaks, and rattles in the dash. The problem is growing worse and no one knows how to solve it. This car has been doing this since it was two weeks old. It only has 30,000 miles on it at present.

Door lock cylinder- separated from inner assembly , #2. While in hyway traffic, radio failed, followed by ,in approximately 10 seconds, engine cutting off ( fuel/water guage functioned), coasted to roadside. Attempted to start engine, acted as if battery dead. After 1 hour wait, attempted to restart engine, starter turned slowly but did not start engine. However, standard alarm system sounded. I turned of alarm by inserting key in door (standard procedure). Tow truck gave boost at battery. Vehicle immediately started . The battery low power thing, occurred about two weeks prior, in vw dealer's customer pick up area, after dealer had replaced a headlight fuse/ aligned headlights/wheels. When alarm went off and starter did not turn over engine, service manager immediately arrived w/booster unit and started car. He said battery probably got low from technician holding down brake pedal for extended period of time? duh? I did not think anything more about problem at the time(denial). Problem h.

Driver's side door lock cylinder failed. Yh.

Door lock has failed several times.

Automatic door lock intermittently malfunctioned in cold temperatures. Door knob popped up, but the door failed to open automatically or manually. As a result, consumer was trapped in or locked out of the vehicle. The cause of the failure had not been determined.
