One problem related to front seat heater/cooler has been reported for the 2002 Volkswagen GTI. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Drivers side seat (velour not leather) w/ vw cold weather package (heated seats), when heated seat was turned on it would shock me, the driver. This happened over the course of 3 or 4 days and now it does not work at all.
