Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 1996 Volkswagen Jetta

Consumer was leaving an intersection and was traveling 15mph on a wet pavement, applied brakes, and vehicle slid and hit enbankement curb. Upon impact, both airbags did not deploy. Dealership was aware of problem.

The consumer was driving on highway in front of a tractor trailer flatbed. The tractor was hauling hay,one of the hay blocks fell in the lane in which trailer was traveling, causing a reaction to turn into the grass area into the guard rail. Mr hamilton was notified from the insurance company that his car was totaled. Driver's air bag failed to deploy.
