Two problems related to hazard flashing warning light unit have been reported for the 1996 Volkswagen Jetta. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Upon depressing the four-way flasher switch, usually only one turn signal blinks, inside and outside the vehicle, only the left or right turn signal blinks, after depressing the switch several times, the four-way flashers will work normally.
