Abs light, anti-skid light, flashing brake light and audible alarm came on immediately after starting vehicle and do not stop. Had experienced slight but unusual skidding while backing out of parking space on gravel yesterday but car ran ok right after that and then problem started today.

The contact owns a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, she noticed that the abs warning light was illuminated. The vehicle then stalled by independently shifting to neutral without warning. The contact had to wait several minutes in order to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for diagnosis where they advised her that the abs module failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and they offered no assistance. The failure and current mileages were approximately 48,500. Kmj.
