Tl the contact owns a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta. While driving approximately 35 mph, the contact attempted to slow down by depressing the brake pedal; however, the vehicle spontaneously accelerated. The contact had to push the start button and shift into park to stop the vehicle. There were no warning indicators illuminated.
