Door problems of the 2019 Volkswagen Jetta

The contact owns 2019 Volkswagen Jetta. The contact stated that the upper left hand corners on both the driver and passenger side doors of the vehicle would bend outward upon opening of the doors. While the contact's husband was stepping down from a curb to enter the passenger side of the vehicle, the door's sharp corner pierced his husband's right eye. The contact was taken to the hospital where he sought medical treatment for the injury. Since the injury, the contact's husband continued to seek treatment from an eye specialist and stated that the injury has left him legally blind. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.
