The contact stated while driving approximately 60 mph, the contact observed that the blind spot monitor and the lane keep assist warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that the failure was a second failure to the system. The contact had previously taken the vehicle to a dealer and the sensor for the blind spot monitor and the lane keep assist warning had been replaced once before. The contact had taken the vehicle back to the same local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the blind spot and lane keep assist sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.
