The contact shifted the vehicle into park and restarted the vehicle however, while driving, the failure recurred. The hybrid system failure warning light was illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to local dealer who inspected the vehicle and diagnosed the failure as the transmission and stated that the transmission needed to be replaced.
