The contact owns a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen. The contact stated they were attempting to park the vehicle and when they applied the brakes, the vehicle suddenly accelerated. The contact was unable to stop the vehicle until they crashed into the side of a building. There were no injuries, a police report was filed. The contact also stated that the air bags did not deploy. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to determine what caused the failure and the dealer stated they could not find any error codes. The failure and current mileage was 29,000.
