One problem related to rear window wiper washer has been reported for the 2009 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
After driving in the rain and parking my car in light rain for about two and a half hours the front windshield wipers would not work when I started the car. I tinkered around with the levers and the rear wiper worked and the washer fluid worked, but not the front wipers. I checked the fuse indicated in the manual and it was not blown. I was forced to drive home in the rain without the use of my front wipers.
