One problem related to instrument panel has been reported for the 2010 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
1. Manufacturing defect problem: the instruments lights interfere with seeing the road at night. Description: the intensity or brightness of the instrument lights are too high such that objects on the road are not seen well on a dark night on an unlighted road. This is even with maximum dimming of the lights 2. Failure is present continuously as part of vehicle design 3. The manufacturer of the vehicle states that nothing can be done.
