Three problems related to cruise control have been reported for the 1996 Volkswagen Passat. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The passenger door power window does not work most of the time - trunk will not unlock with key, cruise control only works sometimes.
When driving at any speed abs light and the brake light keep coming on. Also, cruise control comes on, and the abs system locks up. When consumer gets out of vehicle, horn will keep blowing.
Abs light keeps coming on, and the abs system is locking up. Also, horn keeps going off, and cruise control keeps coming on.
