The abs sensors are not functioning although they have been replaced. The dashboard has multiple failure lights. The vehicle is a vw cc not covered by the abs recall although it exhibits identical issues.
2009 vw cc pulling out into cross traffic the electric controlled parking brake locks up. I have had this happen several times now. I refuse to sell the car like it is or let anyone drive it. It appears to be related to the seatbelt. If it happens I undo my seatbelt and reinsert it to get it to work again. It seems like it's not programmed to be a fail safe system. I tried to hit my breaks and they failed to work and I hit the car in front of me.
Engine cold. Trans. In either reverse or drive. Upon releasing brake car moves too fast. When applying brake nothing happens. After repeatedly applying brake they finally catch has happened at least 5 times. This time they didn't catch and I rearended a pickup waiting at a stop sign. I don't think I failed to apply the brakes properly because I raised my foot off the brake and reapplied them at least twice before impact but that is never-the-less still a possibility.
