The vehicle was taken to ourisman Volkswagen of waldorf (located at 2282 crain hwy, waldorf, MD 20601, (301) 843-1234) where it was diagnosed that the connection from the fuel pump detached and the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failures recurred. The vehicle was not taken back to the dealer and was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 67,000.
