Tl the contact owns a 2014 Volkswagen Passat. While driving, the vehicle started to jerk, the rpms decreased, and the vehicle decelerated. Also, the check engine, epc, and traction control warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to ourisman Volkswagen of waldorf (located at 2282 crain hwy, waldorf, MD 20601, (301) 843-1234) where it was diagnosed that the connection from the fuel pump detached and the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failures recurred. The vehicle was not taken back to the dealer and was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 67,000.
