Four problems related to air brake have been reported for the 2000 Volvo 770. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer stated the jake brake failed.
The driver side window shattered. The brakes squeaked, there was a noise coming from the front of the vehicle, the engine raced when the truck was in neutral, the transmission jumped in and out of gear, the gauges on the lcd display were acting erractically.
When applying the brakes hard, the truck makes a loud noise.
Consumer states that the brakes have squeaked since time of purchase, he was informed this was occurring due to poor driving habits.
