Integrated Child Seat Belt problems of the 1996 Volvo 850

Two problems related to integrated child seat belt have been reported for the 1996 Volvo 850. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Integrated Child Seat Belt problem

Failure Date: 06/25/2004

Rear middle seat belt will not extend, result in inoperable seat belts. The seat belt for the integrated child seat would not extend to allow the consumer to fasten the child in the seat.

2 Integrated Child Seat Belt problem

Failure Date: 08/30/2001

Please disregard no complaint concerning child seat.
