I have been getting burned out light bulbs in my 1997 Volvo for a long time and every time I go to the dealer I mentioned to them and they replaced burned bulbs and I mentioned to them to check electrical system to see if they could fix that continuous problem. Their answered was it is okey. I wonder if you have heard this kind of problem from any other owner.

2 Exterior Lighting problem of the 1996 Volvo 850

Failure Date: 03/17/2003

While driving and without warning the exterior/interior lights shut off and the consumer was unable to see. As a result the consumer was forced to pull over to the side of the road. The Volvo dealer has been notified. The symptom has now occurred multiple times. The light would come back on when the keys move about in the ignition switch, while the engine continued to run. Scc.
