1. Driving on highway 16 - uphill slope, heavy traffic. 2. Speed dropped from 60 to 30 mph - no warning. Car remained very sluggish. Warning for electronic throttle control came on. Put flashers on, moved to right lane at 30 mph. Close call to an acciident. 3. Had car towed to Volvo dealer. Electronic module replaced.
Arm of accelerator pedal broke when hitting pad. Replaced part twice, problem reoccurred. . Consumer stated failure resulted in sudden acceleration.
