The contact was driving approximately 45 mph with the air conditioner activated when it suddenly failed without warning and would only blow outside air into the vehicle cabin. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was advised that the compressor and receiver dryer would need replacing. The vehicle was not repaired.
